Google Chrome support working to make browsing faster for the users
Google Chrome is the most
popular browser in the world. It is so much loved by the people that they
download and install it in their devices for browsing the web even when it is
not the default browser. Hardly anyone complains when it comes to the speed of
this browser but there are reports that Google Chrome support is making
sincere efforts to make it even faster. Also, experts feel that Chrome eats up
more resources of the system than its counterparts like Mozilla Firefox, Apple
Safari, and Microsoft Edge. As it uses lots of RAM during browsing sessions,
Google Chrome happens to be a big drain for the battery of the device.
Realizing the problems that
its browser faces, Google has been working hard to make its browser lighter
than before. The line of action seems to be directed against advertisements
that make the browser slow. To counter these web based ads, Google is trying to
develop a powerful ad blocker that will prevent ads from slowing down Chrome
browser.
It is not that there was no
inbuilt ad blocker in Google Chrome until now. But Google feels that this ad
blocker was not good enough to block heavy ads that are pushed down the throat
of the users in a creative manner these days. The tech giant is working to
improve the functionality of this ad blocker with the help of a new feature
that will remove all heavy ads that it feels will eat up lots of resources of
the system.
Google realizes that ads play
a vital role in funding a vast majority of websites on the web. Even Google
earns truckloads of money through these advertisements. But it also feels there
has to be a line when it comes to allowing these ads to hamper with the
browsing experience of the users. It has planned to make the browser capable of
blocking the ads when it feels they are slowing it down for the comfort of the
users. According to Google, not all web based ads are heavy. It is only a
fraction of these ads that are heavy and eat up sizeable amount of resources of
the system of the user. Google says that it is not intentional on the part of
these ads but they do slow down the browsing experience of the user and also
drain the battery of the device at a fast speed. If this browsing is done on a
mobile phone, it also means expenditure of valuable data unless the user is on
an unlimited data plan.
Chrome support is planning to root out heavy ads before they are able to load on to the
browser. This will surely help in improving the speed of the browser to give a
much better browsing experience to the user. Users will see a message from
Google that will say that Chrome support has removed the ad as it was
using too many resources of the system.
It is not yet clear as to when
this new ad blocker from Google will be ready and released for the use of
common customers.
