This feature will allow users to share FB posts on WhatsApp with a single tap

Whatsapp is the most popular instant messaging platform around the world. It was taken over by Facebook long ago. But so far, there has been no meaningful integration between the two platforms. Last month, Facebook expressed its desire to do some rebranding exercise for Whatsapp to mark its transition from a standalone IM platform to Whatsapp from Facebook. In a single move that aims to integrate the two platforms in a seamless manner, Facebook has allowed its customers to share their Facebook posts with their contacts on Whatsapp with a single tap. Customers are excited to learn about this feature. They know that with Facebooksupport, it will be a breeze for them to use both the platforms smoothly at the same time.

Mark Zuckerberg has been working on his ambitious plan to fuse all three flagship platforms owned by Facebook together for quite some time. It is going to be a beautiful experience for the lovers of social media to have a single platform where they can use the features of all three namely Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp. Imagine being able to be present on all three of your favourite social media platforms at the same time without having to hop from one to another.

These plans have received a big boost with a recent update introduced by Facebook to its Android app that allows users to share their Facebook posts with their friends on Whatsapp. This button titled Send in Whatsapp appears prominently under all posts that have been made by Facebook users for his friends on this social media platform. This button appears in case of customers who already have Whatsapp installed in their smartphone. Facebook is able to learn whether the user has Whatsapp installed on his smartphone or not through Android Package Manager or API. However, API doesn’t share any data between Whatsapp and Facebook. This has been confirmed by Facebook lately.
Critics are quick to point out the fact that sharing of Facebook posts with Whatsapp friends was possible earlier also. But users needed to go to More Options to be able to share their posts. Now, it has been made much easier and seamless as posts can be shared with a single tap. Facebook says that it realized the need to integrate Facebook with Whatsapp because of the desire of its customers to share their posts with Whatsapp contacts.

Online Facebook support means that customers will now be able to share information with their friends on Instagram, Whatsapp, Gmail, and even Google Photos. With this new feature, Mark Zuckerberg has taken a step towards unifying all platforms under his control under a single umbrella. There can be no two opinions about the fact that Mark Zuckerberg is worried with falling revenues from Facebook. He wants to compensate this loss by generating more revenues from Instagram and Whatsapp. Both these platforms have registered increase in user base whereas Facebook has lost nearly 15 million users in the U.S alone in 2017-18.

Customers are happy but only worried about the security implications of this new feature introduced by Facebook.
