Google Chrome 77 Could Launch with a Built-in Theme Creator



Google has some good news for the users of its popular browser Chrome. Users now have the liberty to customize the theme of their Chrome browser. While this choice was available to them earlier also via Google web store, it was not an easy task for a common individual to customize the theme of his browser. In any case, users did not like the limited number of themes that were available for their use in the web store.  But now, Chrome support from Google allows users to create their own custom theme and that too within their browser.

Billions of men and women use Chrome browsers in their desktops, laptops, and mobile phones every day. Nearly all of these individuals have no choice but to use the default theme of their Chrome browser. Until now, a user needed to go to Web Store to get a theme and create Chrome extension to be able to use the theme. Very few users availed this facility as it required a lot of time and effort on their part. But now, Google has introduced changes in Chromium codes. These code changes have allowed Google to incorporate a built in theme generator in its Chrome browser. You now see a Chrome flag that is related to Chrome colors. You need to visit Chrome/flags and enable three flags to create a custom theme for your browser.

After you have enabled the flags, all you have to do is to launch Chrome Canary, click on customize, and then choose the color and theme of your choice. You will see an icon resembling a pencil inside a circle. Click on this icon and then enter the values of R, G, and B in the range of 0-255 to specify the color options you want in your theme. Now click on the tick mark to set these desired changes to the theme of your browser. Online Chrome support from Google takes care of the changes specified by you and makes sure that you see your preferred customized theme whenever you start to browse the web.

Now you are ready to upload the image of your choice. Go to the Background section, upload the image, and click on ‘Done’ to see the image and color options you want in the theme of your Chrome browser. If you are one of those millions who have become bored with the limited numbers of themes provided by Google in its Web Store, this short exercise is what you have to carry out to have a theme of your choice in your Chrome browser.

The ability to customize Chrome browser theme may not be a revolutionary change but Google has taken a step in the right direction by giving this option to its billions of users. These code changes in Chrome browser have been introduced by Google in its update version Google 78. Choose the color theme of your choice to browse the web with more zeal and excitement with your Chrome browser.
