iOS 11 Hacks For Your iPhone That Will Change Your Life

Users of iPhones around the country are not aware of the fact that Apple has provided a large number of hidden features in its operating system. There are shortcuts and special iOS settings that can not only make iPhone faster but also much easier to use. Here are some of these hacks that you can use to take back control of your iPhone.

Search apps rather than scanning for them
Most iPhone users have dozens of apps stored in folders inside their devices. They sometimes forget where a particular app is and they waste a lot of time swiping and looking for them inside folders. You can easily find the app by a simple swipe down on the screen and then typing the name of the app.

Close all active apps with a single swipe
Many iPhone users keep opening apps one after another to find that they have dozens of apps running in their device. Scrolling through these apps can be a difficult task when you are switching from one app to another. IOS allows you to tap the Home button twice and swipe up by placing a finger on app screenshots that you see on the screen.

Enhance battery life by managing apps that are location based
Are you disappointed by the fact that your battery drains quickly before the end of the day. The culprit may be apps that are location based as your iPhone has to listen to satellite signals for the operation of these apps. Make sure that you have closed apps like Uber and Google Maps after using them. You can also change the settings of some location based apps so that they require your location only when you are using them, not otherwise.

Create own shortcuts by going to control centre
Apple’s iOS allows you to create your own shortcuts for various apps by visiting control centre. You can remove default shortcuts and add your shortcuts for apps that you use frequently. Just go to Control Centre and customize to add or remove items from the default menu.

Disable shake to undo
Shake to undo was a much loved iOS feature when it was introduced first time with iOS 3. It allowed users to just shake their device to undo if they have accidentally deleted something that they did not want to. Some users find that their device deletes something they are working on if they are running and keeping their phone in their pocket.

Repeat message alerts can be turned off
Some iPhone users are annoyed by the fact that their device reminds them about text messages they receive twice, first when they arrive and then again two minutes later.  On the other hand, there are some people who wish to be reminded about their text messages again and again. Whether you do not want reminders at all or wish to increase the number of reminders, iOS settings allows you to do whatever you want. Visit Notifications in Settings and then select the number of reminders as per your liking for incoming messages.
