Gmail Gets wonderful New 'Right Click' Menu options
Gmail is one of
the most popular emailing services around the country. One feature that
disappointed the users was limited options with a right click in side Gmail.
They saw routine options like delete, mark as read, and archive until now. But Gmail support has now extended new functionalities to right click menu inside
Gmail. There is not one or two but 10 new capabilities for the user when he
right clicks on his mouse inside Gmail now.
Now, a user will
see a long list of options when he will right click on a message in his in box.
In fact, you will be able to do almost everything that you could think of when
clicking right on your mouse on your computer. You can now reply to the message
and forward it and also search for all emails form a particular sender by
making a single right click. Also, you can take a look at several emails in
different windows by using this option through right click in Gmail.
Gmail tech support has
to be credited with making these new changes in the right click functionality
for the user. You can now add labels to an email; snooze emails form a sender,
and also mute the conversation by a simple right click and the drop down menu.
While all these functionalities are already available in other email services
and none of them is really ground breaking, Gmail becomes more versatile and
useful for the user now.
Google has said
that new functionalities with right click will only be available for its G
suite customers only for the time being. However, all Gmail users will see
notifications about new features popping up inside their Gmail now and then.
One option with
right click that has been made available to users is the Move To option. This
option is really weird as moving a particular email to a group means you are
only adjusting its position in the list of emails. This feature only removes a
particular email form the inbox and places it in a group that you cannot see at
first glance.
If you are
muting a conversation, it just doesn’t remain visible to you. It does not go to
spam folder. However, you can see muted conversations by simply typing muted in
your search box.
The most useful
feature added with the right click option is the ability to see a message in a
new window. This allows you to continue to browse in the main menu while still
reading and even interacting with this message in a separate window.
One more feature
that some users will find useful is the ability to bundle several messages in a
group. You can now bundle several groups together to have a look at emails of a
particular nature with a single click.
These new
feature with right click will attract many more customers to Gmail. People who
cannot give up on using Outlook or Yahoo will now find that their Gmail service
has become very versatile and useful.
